Small Business: Visually Dressing For Success

Small Business: Visually Dressing for Success

Mornings can sometimes prove challenging. When getting dressed for the day, you may try on five different outfits or four different ties and re-style your hair all because you do not feel comfortable with your image. You do not feel confident with your appearance. Something is missing. We all want to look good and radiate happiness and confidence, when our minds will let us, right?

The same thing happens with entrepreneurs and the visual image of your business. When handing out your business card, you may sense that your logo does not feel right. It seems off and does not reflect the true essence or your business or product that you originally envisioned. You know what I am talking about when you feel emotionally unattached to your business image. There is no real connection or correlation.

Are you stuck because of your logo or graphic visuals?

This is wVisually Dress Business Successhere the breakdown happens. You have worked so diligently and put in many long hours to create the business you love. You have the passion and drive to take it to the next level, so you attempt to interpret your eagerness and understanding to design your own visual branding, logo, select color themes and to tell your story visually through graphics and illustrations. It often becomes overwhelming and leaves you feeling like the success of your business will fail because the branding does not meet your graphical expectations. If you find yourself constantly tweaking and changing things – your visual brand is not translated well.

Your business won’t necessarily fail because your logo isn’t the best representation of your company. Your business probably won’t fail because your branding is inconsistent and your colors are offending your customers or your illustrations look like clip art from the 70’s when you are operating a cutting edge business. But…

  • How would your business change if your visual branding made it easier to market your business?
  • What if fell in love with your logo, graphics, messaging, images, illustrations and color?
  • What if you never wanted to change these parts of your branding because they worked for YOU and your CUSTOMERS?

This is what I do for many smart entrepreneurs.

I eliminate that feeling and emotion that says something isn’t right in my branding and turn it into: I love it and I can focus on serving my customers and solving their problems and needs. I can confidently hand out my business cards at networking events. I can be proud of my digital website that not only supports my business but also is emotionally dressed for the world to see.

Graphic design and visual brand specialists work with you to convey your goals, solve communication problems, and help illuminate your values and mission into bits and pieces of design that you love and you love to share with the world.

“An image is not simply a trademark, a design, a slogan or an easily remembered picture. It is a studiously crafted personality profile of an individual, institution, corporation, product or service.” – Danie J Boorstin
