My process is based around developing a relationship with you and your business. Getting to know more about your problems, difficulties, challenges, successes, hopes, dreams, desires and goals is the best part of my job! I believe people matter and in fact that sets me a part from the crowd of designers. I listen and transform their ideas into real professional visual branded items that support the goals of their marketing.
Price Quote Estimates
Once we connect to see if there is a positive connection between how I work and your team I will share a written quote/proposal uniquely to address your business needs. I will include standard policies AT Design & Illustration has such as rounds of revisions, how many concepts are included, deadlines, timelines, proofing process and more. Once a relationship is established, contract signed and initial required deposits made. We get to work!
Discovery
This is where I get to know your business more closely. I will listen to your thoughts. I will ask lots of questions. I will take a few moments to think about what you just said. I will take notes that then I turn into an informal brief. This is the phase where it is vitally important that you know who your customers are or work toward getting to know them so that we can steer your ship in a positive course of visual action.
Action In My Studio
This is where the real right brained work begins. This is the concept development phase or where I take action in the studio to turn your visuals into tangible brand graphics that turn the heads of your desired customers or current clients. This is where my talents and skill of translating your ideas mixed with design expertise of what you really need merge into one to be presented to you.
Refinement
I will present you with the concept(s) as arranged in your contract and I will explain the thought process behind the work. This is the perfect time where you give me lots of feedback such as ‘I love it’ or ‘I hate it’ maybe even an ‘our customers are going to be impressed with our professional image’ comment. Trust me I can take it, positive and negative equally, I survived the traditional art critiques in school for three years. I am ready for your feedback and after getting to know your customers armed with rebuttal to keep you on track. I am always flexible and I am a believer in that good business owners have done their homework and paid attention to their customer so they do know their own customers needs. It is never “my way or the highway” at AT Design & Illustration.
Deliverables
Upon final approval of your design(s) I will then create the final artwork and prepare logos on disk, digital PDF or print ready files delivered to print vendors. I also specialize in print, paper specification, special print processes and broker printing for select clients to achieve the best final product at the right budget, quality and timeliness.

Illustrative design projects range from $300 – $3,000.
Logo designs (my signature service) for small business (includes 4 designs to choose from and multiple rounds of revisions) start at $600 – $800.
Logo design for Fortune companies (large business or in house freelance) start at $1,200.
Small Business Start Up Package (business card, letterhead, envelope, branded greeting cards) start at $225.
Big Complete Branding Package starts at $1,800 almost everything but the kitchen sink such as (business cards up to 12 employees, letterhead, second sheets, brand note cards, note pads, matching envelopes, labels, e-mail signatures, twitter background, facebook timeline cover graphic). Substitutions and variations can be made based on needs…
The Kitchen Sink which is your website the hub of your business. I recommend wordpress and quite frankly there are many better web developers who do a better job than me. So this is a product I do not sell. However, if aesthetic and tie into your visual brand is what you need help with pattern, graphic, illustrative elements, backgrounds and such I can help. *There are a few kitchen sinks I have designed in partnership with others but it is rare that I agree to such projects. Illustrative Business Girlies (Reg $199) $147 through May 2012 spring special. You send me a photo or two of yourself and I create a likeness of you in your profession. Here is an example of a facebook timeline cover graphic that I drew for Melia Hord who has a jewelry business. The jewelry in her illustration is based on some of the jewelry for sale.
Brochure Design – The sky is the limit so budget is important. I know a ton about specialty printing, budget printing, maximizing style and design on a budget, using coloring, headline copy, and design hierarchy to inform and gain the attention of your clients designing brochures. Since, the sky is the limit it is important for me to know more about your business and goals. If you didn’t read above I care about businesses and the people who run them. So it is rare that anything standard runs through my studio – with that said most brochure projects are priced between $335 – $600. Then there are the brochures that don’t fit the standard idea of a brochure but they are promotional marketing pieces they range in price $600 – $800 or more.
Consulting, Research & Strategy $85 per hour
Social Media Graphics such as facebook, twitter, youtube or other brand graphics start at $85 per project (discount applied to a package)
Website (AKA Kitchen Sink) Headers that tie into your visual brand elements and your existing logo design $235
